CAR Products Smart Buff 1 Step Polishing Compound (1 gallon bottle)

Smart Buff polishing compound contains a proprietary blend of unique abrasives and polymers which remove light to heavy scratches, swirls, oxidation and other surface imperfections while restoring optical clarity to the paint. The final result is a swirl free, high gloss finish with a superior protective coating.

Directions:

Select a pad to achieve desired results

• best polishing action/light cut - green foam pad (CAR-956)
• better polish action/medium cut - yellow foam pad (CAR-957)
• good polish action/heavy cut - white wool pad (CAR-954)

1. Apply a small amount of product directly onto painted surface.
   
2. Set rotary buffer to low speed, between 1200 and 1500 RPM.
3. Keeping pad flat, buff a 2' x 2' area, applying light pressure.
4. Do not remove product completely. Leave a light residue on the vehicle finish.
   
5. Finish each section by removing the remaining residue with a clean soft polishing cloth or micro fiber towel.
   

NOTE: When working on a freshly painted surface, apply directly to buffing pad.
