The Forney 30810 E7018 Mild Steel Low Hydrogen Welding Rod produces quality results on low amperage DC welders and higher amperage AC welders. It's suitable for all positions on harden able steels without preheating and it's good on cold rolled steels without preheating. Good on cold rolled sheets that do not react well with conventional rods. The low hydrogen content reduces cracking and peeling of the weld material.
